Why are some called stretchers and others camp cots?
There's no difference, just different geographical regions having different names! A 'camp cot' is not a baby cot, it's the exact same product as a 'camp stretcher' (which is not a medical stretcher).
Should I also be considering a Monstabed?
Both our stretcher/camp cot range and Monstabed range offer elevated sleeping. Monstabeds are lighter and only come in one package, while if you add a mat to your camp cot setup you will have two carry bags.
Monstabeds are lighter with less pack size than a stretcher + mat combo, but stretchers/camp cots have the added benefit of lower storage capacity to keep your tent floor tidy.
Are these compatible with Zempire sleeping pads and mats?
Yes, most Zempire camp cot stretchers have corner mat straps to keep a Monstamat or Bomberpad secure and they come in similar sizes e.g. Twin, King Single, Single.
The W Leg Camp Cot Stretcher doesn't feature these straps but is fine to use a sleeping pad/mat on top.
Do Zempire camp cot stretchers come with a warranty?
Yes. All Zempire camp cot stretchers come with a 2 year Zempire warranty.
